About Signal Shift

We're a new publication looking to bring younger perspectives on the media and technology industry. The pace of change is exciting, and the advent of cloud-native and AI-first workflows shows no signs of slowing down. Despite ongoing geopolitical pressures, the industry is always ready to face the next challenge across all verticals – from standards to production and from product designers to broadcast engineers in the field. 

A bit of background – we're a group of young broadcasters already working to bring change in the industry, through new ideas and diverse backgrounds. The idea behind Signal Shift is simple – bring those starting out to the forefront, while also gathering knowledge and insights from industry veterans and leaders from across the world.

We'll be producing a mix of digital content, with insightful reports and hard-hitting interviews, following the story wherever it may take us.

Sofia graduated in Creative Media and Film Studies with a toolkit that spans DTP, Canva, Adobe Premiere and the full range of collaborative production platforms. At SignalShift she oversees the layout, design and printing process. Practically minded with a strong visual sensibility and a long-term ambition in film production, she brings exactly the kind of hands-on, format-fluent approach that SignalShift demands.
